Genova 2126 è parte di una mostra promossa dal Comune di Genova  e curata dall’Ufficio SIT presso la Sala delle Grida, che ripercorre l’evoluzione della città dal Seicento a oggi e apre una riflessione sul suo possibile futuro.
Concepito come una serie di “cartoline dal futuro”, il progetto utilizza immagini suggestive non per prevedere ciò che Genova diventerà, ma per interrogare le scelte che la stanno plasmando oggi.
Go Up è stato invitato a reinterpretare tre spazi urbani centrali: Piazza Colombo, Piazza De Ferrari e il Teatro Carlo Felice.
In equilibrio tra utopia e distopia, i tre scenari mostrano come decisioni progettuali, pressioni ambientali e trasformazioni d’uso possano modificare gradualmente la città nel tempo.
Le immagini sono pensate come sollecitazioni visive: aperte, atmosferiche e fondate sull’idea di attraversare il cambiamento continuando a cercare un equilibrio.

Genoa 2126 is part of an exhibition promoted by the City of Genoa, exploring the city’s evolution from the seventeenth century to the present, and opening a reflection on its possible future.
Conceived as a series of postcards from the future, the project uses speculative imagery not to predict what Genoa will become, but to question the choices shaping it today.
Go Up was invited to reinterpret three central urban spaces: Piazza Colombo, Piazza De Ferrari, and the Carlo Felice Theatre.
Poised between utopia and dystopia, the three scenarios reveal how design decisions, environmental pressures, and changing uses may gradually transform the city over time.
The images are intended as visual prompts—open-ended, atmospheric, and grounded in the idea of moving through change while searching for balance.
